HIP INSURANCE/CORI

I have been denied for the second time. I called up my insurance company and was told my denial was standing. I hope it was a mistake. Anyways, my surgeon's office just dumped me to the curb after I was denied the first time. I thought they would at least tried a little to give me some help since they know this is devistating to a patient. Any ways, I decided to go with the CORI center. They seem like they are strictly business when it comes to WLS. My surgeon's office didn't seem that concerned with me actually getting the surgery. I want to know if anyone has used CORI and if they accept HIP. I was thinking about changing my health insurance this coming October. Even if you didn't have HIP, let me know what insurance you used. Also I anyone who has been denied twice like me and eventually won please tell me how. I don't know what to do now.

I have HIP and the Cori Centers do accept it. Thats where i've been going.

No I don't have hip but cori center is very good with getting approval.

Hi there...don't give up! I had my surgery yesterday with Dr. Schuhknecht from CORI! They are the best and worked with me tirelessly to get my approval from the insurance. I had prolems getting approved also, but in the end here I am....a loser!!!! Yahoo!!!!! CORI rules! Take care, Suzanne
