First Post-op visit
Hello AMOS Family
Well, I just got back from my 1 week post-op visit and I am not happy at all. Since surgery, I gained 4 pounds. Of course, the doctor says that it is from all the fluid they pumped into me, but what a disappointment!!!!!
Anyways, I did get my drain taken out and half of my staples. Now I feel half ways like moving around. Actually, I am going to have my daughter take me grocery shopping.
Well, thanks for listening.
Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.

Brenda,
Hun I am sorry that you did not lose and if the Dr said it was ok (normal) I am sure all is fine. ~Hugs~ but I know it is upsetting. Think about the lose when you go back next month WOW. Also your body can be changing right now and fighting to keep this weight on, I noticed mine is fighting me big time. Are you sure you are getting enough to eat as well? I know it made a big difference in my weight loss.
Yes I know how good it feels to get those drains out, I almost felt like running around the house afterwords. Well hun take care... ~hugs~

Patience, lasies, patience. That was my mantra during the first few weeks and I was on the scale every 20 minutes, saying to myself, "Why haven't I lost anything since 10:00am." I learned not to worry about the scale and focus on eating the right foods, drinking fluids and getting in as much movement as possible.
Things will get better, I promise,
Laura*
