Trouble with insurance Preferred Care

Hello, I have been a lurker for 8 months ever since I started on this journey. I have learned so much from all the posts and this wonderful site. I guess I am just having a pity party for myself, cause I got denied. I am waiting for one of the Medical directors to give me a call, hopefully he will call today and I can ensure that there was no disconnect with what paperwork that was sent from my surgeon's office. Then I can plead my case as a human and not a number. I have gone through all the required tests for surgery clearence with paying over $2500.00 in medical expenses. I have a tentative surgery date of late October and my paperwork was sent last week to PC. With this awful insurance this year.....I am hoping to get this surgery by year end to avoid the large deductible next year. I feel I have done everything according to PC guidelines that I got from them last March. I am aware that they changed there requirements some time in April....how convienent that they can change there plan, but I can't change insurance provider untill next January! Sorry this is so long, just needed to vent. Got my fingers crossed I get that phone call today....or would it be better to get in their face and show them I am a real person? Lucy C
