6 days out!!

Good Morning All How is everyone doing? Today is hump day, so stop in and let us know what your weekend plans are, how you are doing and where you are in your journey. I am really feeling great. I never had any pain, just a lot of soreness. I have been able to in my own since I got home. I cannot wait to get rid of this stupid j-p drain and I thank God that I never had to have the G-tube. My first post-op appt is tomorrow and I should lose the drain and some of the staples. I don't seem to be having a problem getting in all my fluids, but am looking forward to something with a little more substance. Beef broth just doesn't cut it for breakfast. This weekend, I am planning on visiting my daughter and son-in-law's new house. Other than that, we will play it by ear. Remember to sip, chew, walk and take your vitamins. Brenda, Hello hun... ~Hugs~ Glad to hear you are doing well.. I wish you the best tomorrow and please post when you get home to let us know how it went. You will feel so much better with that stupid drain out. Hubby works on Sat but i am fixing up the new place. Debra Thanks for stopping by. Yes, I am really feeling very good. I will definitely post how my appointment goes, but I don't go until 1:30 p.m. Since I don't own a scale, it will be my first weight since I left the hospital (when I gained 5#). Decorating up the new place sounds like fun. That ride sounds like lots of fun also. Maybe next summer, I will be able to get my son-in-law to take me for a ride on his Harley!!!! Brenda, So glad to hear you're doing well. I hope my surgery is as uneventful. I finally got my surgery date 9/9/05; as long as my insurance approves it. I'm keeping everything crossed I can. Again, glad to hear you're doing good. Hugs and God Bless. Annette
