I awoke at 2 am to go to the bathroom from the prep stuff and never went back to sleep....so i didnt get much sleep the night before at all. THEN didnt sleep well the nights in hospitol either. I got a bit irritable but managed. LISA

Robert, I didn't sleep at all the night before surgery and nothing I tried helped. You're just too excited, nervous, and yes.. scared, but do try to rest. Perhaps lay in bed, or on the couch, and read a well-loved novel or turn on a movie that you enjoy -- anything that will keep your anxiety level low and your body relaxed. Don't worry -- tomorrow will be here before you know it. Hugs, Lisa Z.

OH BOB! plz try to relax and dont get your blood pressure up. I was fortunate that my blood pressure went up high 2 weeks before and the meds they put me on allowed me relaxing and sleep..but the night before i didnt do well with sleep. ALL will go fine, relax and enjoy. LISA

Bob, I slept like a baby.... I did all my worrying before hand so I was just so tired and happy that I did not have to wait any longer that I just crashed the night before. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.... ~Hugs~ Debra P 285/239/125??

Hi Bob, I know for me I had no problem sleeping at all the night before I knew that I had made the right decision I knew that I was in good hands and that this was all meant to be and I went into it feeling so calm and so sure I had no problem the night before or even right before I went into surgery. I was really amazing and when I think back on it now I would do it all over agian if i had to. I hope you are fortunate enough to get sleep the night before also, let us know what happens take care! Hi Bob: Actually, I think I slept for about 2 or 3 hours because I was pretty nervous and I didn't have anybody to go with me to the hospital, so I was feeling pretty alone. But I prayed a LOT and now it seems like it happened so long ago. The trick is trying to relax, but you'll have plenty of time to do that afterwards. Best wishes to you, Karen
