NOT IN A GOOD MOOD

I decided to call my surgeons office today, just to see if they have gotten all of my results in, everything was sent in and looked over and the assistant to the surgeon told me the doctor does not want to proceed with the surgery because of my abnormal beating, i was referred to a cardiologist to be cleared and everything is ok as per the cardiologist...now the dr wants me to take the echo test and a stress test again, i dunno what to do right now, i've been through so much trying to get the surgery, i've been terminated by my Aetna 3 days before surgery, I had to apply for medicaid so i can do this and now things are still not right, I am really starting to think this isn't for me, I just feel like being giving the run around...I wish DR Roslin and Kurian (Al Rokers Surgeon) would have taken Family Health Insurance he was the surgeon before I came back to Dr Leitman, the door is really closing on this one...Thanx to everyone for the support

Melvina, why don't you request an appt. with the surgeon to see what his concern is....and maybe you can have a conference call with him and the cardiologist. Sometimes reading reports is not enough, and maybe if he talks to your cardiologist, he will change his mind. Additionally, why don't you call the cardiologist and ask him to call the surgeon? Hun I know you dont want to hear it but read my profile. I had alot of trouble with my Cardiologist and Pulmonologist before they would clear me. I got so mad and angry. I was sent for so many extra test that I thought was unnecessary but it retrospect are not. Your life is the Dr's main concern. Just have the extra test done and move on. I know it hurts to have to wait and continue but it truly is in your best interest. It sometimes gets you down but dont let it. You have come this far and must continue the path of your Journey. Remember, nothing worth having comes easy. Keep your eye on the prize. I was in your situation about 3 weeks ago but I took the Testa they wanted and know am scheduled for my Surgery on August 16. Hang in there kid you can do it Louis

Melvina, Hun I am sorry you are having a hard time, hang in there and take those tests. The Dr wants to make sure and your life is worth the extra time and effort!!! I know it is upsetting to have to wait, I had to wait 6 months because I had to do that 6 month weight loss program and it really did stink but it really was for the best. Things will happen when they are meant to, it is all in the BIG plan! ~hugs~ Take it from Louis, he really had a hard time with the Dr's also but now he is so close to getting his surgery so hang in there and do not give up on what you really want!!! Thank you both for the encouraging words, I need to hear stories like mines, I dunno how you guys do it, but I am in a wreck over here, i guess I need to be a little more patience with this, but I am crossing my fingers because I have never wanted something so bad in my life
