I set the date!

Hello All - I just started visiting the New York board recently. I wanted to share that I set my date for Sept. 30th for Lap RNY. I've had to postpone for a while, and now that the h. pylori is gone I have to wait some more due to staffing issues in my department. The next big hurdle is approval from UnitedHealthCare. My surgeon's office tells me that usually takes 2-4 weeks. So, please cross any fingers you might have free for me. Thanks! Mary

Mary, Hi!!! Congrats on your surgery date!! I hope you get that insurance approval soon...boy is that a good feeling. Anyway......keep posting and reading, we all have a common bond it's a great way to feel connected to other people. Janean
