You are a special woman Brenda after all, we share the same name There was a day I thought I needed that someone in my life, and know the day has come that if I am ever lucky enough to find someone special, I will have been blessed. Like you, my parents married young, and stayed married forever 43 yrs this Sept. I long to have a love like yours and my parents, its a very rare thing and something that should truely be treasured. Dear Bren, HAPPY REBIRTHDAY -- what a wonderful story of your journey this past year -- you are truly an inspiration. I'm not on the losing side yet -- so I love to read all this stuff -- I know it won't be an easy journey, but you proved you can do it if you put your mind to it and have the determination. You are a beautiful person -- and when the time is right, you will meet someone very special who will love you for you. Back in 1990 I had lost 90 pounds through Overeaters Anonymous and started to live and do things I enjoyed and when I decided to do the things I enjoyed and not what others wanted me to do, I met my husband. Just keep living your life and it will happen when you least expect it. I, of course, have gained the weight back, plus, and have been struggling, but I look forward to joining you on the losing side and starting my journey. You are a true inspiration -- keep going. I remember back to my 1st post here......all shy,timid,and hoping to hell I would find at least ONE friend here....I posted, and, I found your reply....and I knew I had made a friend. You have added many smiles to my face this past year. I am thankful I found you along my path Tony. Nowwwwww...I doooooo miss seeing you here !!!
