TADA!!!!
Hey all!!
I saw your post asking where I was, so here I am!!
On top of getting denied I also got a transfer to a different location at my job, with more responsibility so I have been losing my mind!! (not much left to lose) I am still going forward, I have entered into the medically supervised weightloss program with my nutritionist, and I have also joined Weigh****chers, this way I have double the documentation.
The tell me that Aetna has a 6 month diet requirement but I can reapply for pre-certification in three months, that's September, not too far away!! So I am just waiting...
Thanks everyone for the support and care!!!
Much Love,

Enzo,
Hun it is nice to see ya... ~hugs~ Congrats on your new job, I am sure that is keeping you very busy huh? Well that is great that you can re apply in Sept, that is just around the corner. I know that 6 month weight loss thing really stinks hun but it will be over so soon, mine went pretty quick and every month after my weigh in I felt like I was one more step closer.
Well hang in there and you will get good news soon. WOW that sounds like a fortune cookie huh Well take care and have a great weekend.

Hi Enzo
Congratulations on the new job!! Good luck with the additional responsibilities. Before long it will be old hat.
I also have Aetna. They require six cumulative months of a Doctor supervised diet and exercise program over the past two years. Three months of that must be consecutive and close to your surgery date. So, if you can account for any other 3 months of a doctor supervised program over the last 2 years, you should have to do only 3 more months now. Check with your surgeon to see if Aetna accepted any of your past attempts. Someone in his office should be able to find out or you can call customer service at Aetna and they should be able to help you. When you re-apply, do it as an "appeal of determination with additional information" so they don't start all over. If you just re-apply for pre-certification, they will start your 2 years from that new application so anything before that date won't count. I know this sounds hard, but I just got my approval and am scheduled for surgery on 7/28. GOOD LUCK!!!!
Keep us posted as to your progress.
Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.

Hey Enzo, it's so nice to have you back--WELCOME!!!
I'm also glad to see that you have not only not given up but have taken solid steps going forward with your plans.
I wish you all the best and yeah, before you know, September will be here and you'll join the losing team once and for all.
Best of luck !!
God Bless!
