Hi Joanne, thank you! Sorry I couldn't make it to the meeting though, but we got home too late. I had to go with DH to a meeting he had and we were committed to and by the time we got back to Yonkers, it was too late to go to St. John's... Anyhow, I hope you guys had a good time and the presentation was nice. My surgery is on 8/1 at White Plains Hosp. I'm going for the pre-admission and final clearance/testing on Tuesday, 7/26 and afterwards, I'm taking DH to Dr. Paglia (the pulmonologist). We decided that he won't wait 'til next summer, instead, we'll try to get him ready and approved for a 3rd week of December surgery... Yes, after our first meeting with you guys last month, hubby and I decided there's no reason for him to wait a whole year to have his WLS. We know is early, but we just want to get the ball rolling with all the pulmonology stuff including the sleep study which now I know takes about 2-3 months for everything (at least, in my case, that's what it was). Anyway, it was nice to hear from ya.
