Plastic Surgery?

Can anyone recommend a plastic surgeon on long island that takes Horizon Healthcare. I spoke to my insurance company about having a breast lift and they said that as long as i get a letter of medical necessity that it can be covered. There are a lot of surgeons in the network where i live but I don't want to just go to anyone i would rather have a recommendation from someone, and I would like to find a doc that is familiar with gastric bypass patients. I went to B. Donald Sklansky for my tummy tuck. He is in Great Neck. He was recommended to me by my WLS surgeon. He did a wonderful job and I'm very happy with the results. I don't know if he takes Horizon Healthcare, but it certainly can't hurt to call and ask. Here is his phone number 516-504-1800. Let us know what happens. Joanne

Hi Liz, I would contact your baratric dr. and ask them if they have a couple of reccomendations. Then you can look to see if they are in your insurance. Plus you can reasearch them on this web site! Good luck to you!! Marla
