I can not eat!

I am a week away from 4 months post op and lately I can not eat anything. My stomach actually hurts all the time, even when I drink water. I have been trying to eat a little bit at a time so that at least I get some nutrition. I even vomitted on Sat. All I do is sleep due to lack of nutrition. I had to drop one of my classes because it was too much to take two classes for me right now, Im too tired! I havent even been able to keep up with the WLS posts, I have no desire to go online anymore, all I want to do is sleep. I make it to work but when I get home, Im taking a nap. Any suggestions?

Hun, You should call your surgeon! Could it be an ulcer or maybe a stricture? Pleaes make sure you try to get your water in and as much protein as you can. Do you drink the protein shakes? Hun please call the Dr before it gets worse... ~hugs~ Take care Debra P

Make an appointment to see your surgeon. Hopefully, he will order some tests so you can find out what's going on. It could be any number of different things like a stricture or a bowel obstruction. I would make that appointment ASAP. You don't want to be become malnourished. Let us know what happens. Joanne

My doctor told me not to panic and that I should go back to the basics.....liquid then puree then solids again. He said I should be fine. Thanks for your support!

Thanks for your responses. I left a message with my Doctor this morning. I actually saw him on Friday but it became worse since then. I drink fresh brewed iced tea and hot tea, it doesnt upset my stomach. And I was able to eat Pirates Booty cause it is airy....at least I am getting something in my system. I am going to try some yogurt later. I will let you know what the Doctor says! Thanks again!
