Wish me luck!!!

Hey everyone..... Tomorrow is my first day at work! Wish me luck! I havent worked since 12/03, almost 8 months! Got laid off in Jan and took a few months off to try the stay at home mom thing... dont flame me As much as I love my daughter, I am not the stay at home mom type... and I give lots of credit to moms and dads who do this... it is a full time job with lots of overtime Even though I will miss my little princess, I cant wait to get back out into the corporate world! I am a little nervous, hate being the new gal, it's sorta like the first day at a new school.... Wish me luck, I'm gonna miss coming here during the day and reading posts. Gia261/216/125

Thanks Debra.... It went good today, a little boring.... I had to do the orientation thing. So I was stuck in a room all day with all the newbies, I was the only one in the Acctng dept, everyone else there were much more important than me There were producers for Channel 12 News, a helicoptor pilot for Channel 12, attorneys.. I felt so little To top it off, my Supervisor is on vacation this week but she just called me to tell me not to be upset when I go to my cubicle tomorrow because I dont have a computer or anything yet, just a desk and she said that I will be doing mostly clerical work for the next few days.... I dont remember how to do clerical work!! I had an assistant at my past job who did all that! Anyway, thanks for your best wishes! I did miss the baby alot. Almost cried when she blew me a kiss as I walked out the door! Hope all is well. Gia

Gai Good Luck tomorrow. I'm so very happy that you found a job. Trust me I know how hard it is to find one. I haven't work a full time job in over 2 years. Plus with the big blow to me a few weeks ago with being let go from my dream job. It's still hurts. However my full time job is looking for a job. Hi Maria, THanks girl.... I know you will be a flight attendent!! Just dont ever give up on your dreams... as for finding something now, have you tried an agency? Monster.com is a good site to look, also hotjobs.com... I know it's hard to find something, I was looking before I got laid off. I will keep my fingers crossed and my ears open also.
