Hiya Deb You are so right when you say that this journey is such a mix of emotions -- I know I am running on full throttle all the time now. Sometimes I wonder why I am doing this to myself and other times I know it is the only chance I have left... I go from mourning the food I have to give up in order to finally live to hating that food for bringing me here in the first place. It is a surreal experience, that's for sure.. I'm so looking forward to being done with the waiting! It's been a long haul (getting a surgery date 44 days in advance was downright cruel in my opinion!) and it is now time for Dr. Iannoli to wave his magic scalpel and transform me from Humpty Dumpty to Cinderella!! Hi Lisa: Wow, 3 more days!! I remember how I was feeling and I think you summed it all up in terms of the emotional roller coaster that this takes us through. It was like my head was spinning I also feel like you because this website has been a godsend for me too, and without the support, love and resources from the wonderful people here it would be a much more difficult journey.
