Lets get Together....

Hello All, I am going to be on Long Island this Sat and would love to get together with whomever would like to visit, my Mom lives in Holbrook and we could do something there either outside or inside. I know Dee and Janean might be visiting if plans work out so please email me or post so I can send you directions. It would be nice to get together and just chat, almost like a little support group.. Hey Debra, I'll give you a call tomorrow morning from work. Maybe we can meet at a Starbucks or something in the evening. Out that way on Sunrise Hwy.....in Sayville there is a Starbucks and in Patchogue there is an Okey Dokey.....unless you are closer to the LIE, then we can meet somewhere over there....it doesnt matter to me....or your welcome to come to my house...by the time I get in from work and the kids fed, and then I have to bring my oldest daughter to work at 6:00....we can meet around 7pm...but if it works out better for you or anyone else to meet earlier in the day...I totally understand and wont be offended at all. So I'll speak to you tomorrow. Janean

Hi Debra, How you been? Haven't been on the NY Board very much. I wanted to take a minute to say Hi and to update you a little on whats been going on. I also want to know how you're coming along so far..... As for me, I am gonna be having my surgery in another 6 days, and to tell you the truth, I really can't wait because the anxiety is really getting to me....... Well, hope to hear from you soon... Blanquie, Hello hun, glad to see you here... ~hugs~ How are things going with you? Email me please and let me know. WOW only 6 more days.... I know the waiting is the hardest, that day goes by quickly when you are getting ready for surgery. I now can look back and say that the waiting is the hardest thing!!! Once it is in front of you, you just go through it. I am doing well hun, trying new things and trying to get my excercise in every day. That has been hard with the weather but I am getting my treadmill on Monday so that should help me a lot. Feeling really good right now though I do have some tireness to deal with but that will work itself out from what the PA said when I went on Thurs. Down since surgery (5 weeks) 31.5 lbs and total is 39.5. Coming off slowly but steady. Take care hun and email me soon.....~hugs~ Debra P

Ya know, I dont kow why I havent been on this board for a while. It is great! I grew up in Middletown and worked in Monroe for years. I am in Middletown, Monroe,Washintonville, and Wurtsboro several times a year(all about 2 hours from me) E-mail me if you'd like and you can teach me how to be a post-op(lol)I hope to be one REAL SOON!!!!
