Hi...SOrry I haven't been around

Hey there Just a little update on what's been going on. As some of you know I went for an interview with Maxjet. And at least time the company was kind enough to let me go after two hours before an interview. I wasn't the only one let go. It seem they let go of a few people. The way I notice it was because they were already flight attendants and older then 35 years. I was going to go on an interview today with another airline. But due to a being wounded and broken spirit I'm just going to put away the dream to becoming a flight attendant. I just can't stand the fact, that the minute I walk into a room all people see is a fat person and not what I am becoming. I get the same treatment when I walk into doctor offices for interviews and I'm just sick of it. I was told about a part time job in a bakery over in East New York [Brooklyn] so I'll be going there next week in hopes of getting something. I need a pay check ASAP. They pay is less the $7 hour, but the way I see it is I can work part time and still look for a full time job else where. I haven't heard from Jet Blue yet. But they take awhile to get back in connect with people. Maybe there is still a good chances I can still work for an airline even if it's not being a flight attendant. Damn it, I would have been a great flight attendant too. Just sad to see they don't want me. And the way it's going I don't think I'll even get that chance of doing something I've always wanted to do. However I'm going to try again in another 6 months. SO I'm not going to give up. I'm just sad it's not happening now. When I need something great to happen. Well I just better grin it and bare it right? So away, I hope all is well with you. Sorry I haven't been around much. Life over here isn't so peachy. There are other things that are stressing around the household. But I'm just trying my best to handle my mess of a life the best way I know how. I can't talk about it. However just please say a little prayer for me. I am looking into some life changing things and hoping they will be done soon. Talk to you soon Take Care God Bless Maria.

You go girl! In six months, you can tell them to kiss your tiny little - well you know. It ****** me off that there is such a prejudism against us for weight and for age. I left my home of Texas to come here to Buffalo just to get a job doing what I have my degree in, because not only was I fat, I was over the age of 40. The good ol boys want that young little eye candy. But ya know? I am now a nice little size 10 rump with good health, a sparkle in my eye and the best bosses I have ever worked for in my life! So you just hold onto that dream. Do what you need in the meantime, but hold on to it and go for it when the time is right.

Dear Maria, Glad to see you're back. Sorry things didn't work out for you this time -- but just keep trying. Don't give up on your dream. Sorry also to hear things are stressful at home -- hopefully they will pick up and be more cheerful soon. Just never give up -- it might not be in our time, but in God's time, there might be something else He needs for us to experience or learn. Keep your chin up. I'll be praying for you. Love Debbie
