Tummy issues!
I'm curious if others are on Trinsicon (instrinsic factor) post-surgery, and if it's causing any tummy problems....I know folks who had surgery who have never been on it, but my doctor puts all his patients on it (it includes iron). I'm having problems with my digestive track (is that a sensitive enough term for what I'm sure you all know I'm talking about??) I'm not sure if they are happening because of all the iron, which I know can slow things down, or from the move to the "soft food" stage, which has added in cooked veggies and a few fruits - more fiber than I've had in the last several weeks. I hope it goes away soon because it's not only inconvenient and uncomfortable, but it's also tiring me out!
Thanks for listening!

hi! I had wls on 5/23. I do not know if you mean things are slow or fast! I eat EVERYTHING but sugar and carbs that are not very complex. My MD (Gary Pearlstein) put me on vitamins and protein and I have to say that in the beginning I could not poop- sorry there is no delicate way to say it. I now go daily in the moring following 1/2 cup of coffee. My MD allowed me some milk of magnesia in the beginning and colace to soften things up. I drank watered down juice, ate bran flakes and cooked broccoli...By the way your MD should help you- call ! Things get better with time...
