Hi Gang, Just saying hello - so far I'm in the research stage, but I think I'm going to go for some sort of surgery - looking at MDs in the NE Queens/Nassau area (Hints please) Been reading the Yahho bandsters group for about 2 years Fear? Charles, Hello hun....~Hugs~ Take your time and learn about the different kinds of surgery and see which on is for you. I had the lap RNY on 6/6/05 and I am very glad I did. I had a surgeon from Nassau, Dr Garber in New Hyde Park. He does the Lap RNY and the Lap Band. If you are interested please email me and I will give you his info or you can look him up here. Charles, Hun that is one bad thing about Dr Garbers office, they do NOT like to return calls!!! You might want to call again, best time is around 10am and then again around 2-3pm. Yes I wish I would have done this earlier but I guess I was just not ready... Take care and good luck Debra P
