Hi guys. I'm a new post op, last Tuesday, and I was wondering how you new ones are doing with your fluid intake. I can take in at least 8-10 ounces an hour. Is this normal for just a week and a half out of surgery? Just wondering? Debra

Debra, I am doing about 1 to 1 1/2 liter a day, not quite the 64 oz yet but getting there. That sounds about right for me too when I am just drinking and not working also. I can feel it in my pouch and when it empties out as well, I am not sure if everyone can feel that but I do. This whole thing is weird at times, in a good way. Take care Debra P

Hi Debra, I'm getting in about 48-56 oz of liquids as long as I'm sipping all the time. So I guess that I'm doing okay. At first I could feel the liquid or should I say hear it, now I don't. You are right the whole thing is very weird. Deb

its normal just to stay hydrated and not worry so much about the intake till you heal in about 3 more weeks your doing great just keep sipping all day unless of course you eat something then wait the hour and continue to sip.... Stacy 232/136 or 7 or 8 depending on the day!!!!!!!

Thanks Stacy. I'll just keep sipping and not worry about it. I usually stop drinking about 45 min-1hour before and after I eat. Thanks again. Deb
