Insurance FINALLY approved and I am exactly ONE week away from surgery!!! Surgery is next Mon 7/11! I have my pre-op at the hospital tomorrow morning and PCP clearance on Thurs. I'm a little concerned about this cough I have though. Not sure if its allergies, asthma, or what. I just hope it doesn't interfere with this long awaited surgery! Just started my liquids today. Have to figure out how to hide this liquid diet from my co-workers who don't know about the surgery. We get our lunch ordered in paid by the company everyday (nice perk), so they may get curious when I go from an Italian hero to a Medifast overnight! LOL Getting nervous but anxious to become a LOSER!!! -Dee

Congratulations to you Dee!!!!!!! that is so AWESOME!!!!!!! Hey what you can do is tell your co-workers that you are trying to diet and they should let it be at that. Dee, Congratulations!!!!! I would imagine they will let you know tomorrow what they think re: the cough... And I agree with Evelyn...Medifast is a known diet...just tell them your trying something new. I also have the company perk of getting lunch. I go back to work tomorrow, and I will be bringing my food.......it will be an adjustment for me, all these lunches is one of the things that kept me sooo fat. Best wishes on your journey. Janean

Dee, That is wonderful!!! I can't wait til I can put a post up like that. Good luck and my prayers will be with you. Don't worry about co-workers. Just say you aren't feeling well and you don't want to eat. Or order the Free food anyhow and bring it home to hubby or something!!! Congratulations again, Donna

Thanks Debra...Pre-op went well. The anesthesiologist didnt seem that concerned over my dry cough. She said they give asthma patients a treatment before surgery anyway but that I should ask my PCP for an inhaler. I'll be seeing him on Thurs. Liquids are tough...had a huge headache today and starving! I think I'll go to bed early, too hungry to stay up! LOL I know it'll be worth it in the end but the Medifast tastes gross to me and I am gagging down yogurt. I was never a big fan of yogurt. Tomorrow I'll try the CIB.... How are you doing back to work? Still doing 1/2 days? -Dee
