Maria, While I can't help you with foods to eat (I'm still pre-op), I wanted to let you know that if you ever need someone to talk to please contact me -- I'm online a lot in the evenings. You can reach me on this site or on yahoo ([email protected]). Hang in there... you are already reaping some of the rewards (the weight loss -- 16 lbs! way to go!!) and I know there will be someone on here who can offer you some options when it comes to food. Happy July 4th! Hugs, Lisa Z 18 days and counting...

Maria, Hun congrats on your surgery and your weight loss.... That is an awesome feeling right?.... It all gets better with every day hun, well I did not think so in the beginning but I am doing so much better now. Still fight with some head hunger but doing better.... I am in Stage 2 myself, I will list what I eat, with the exceptions of some things I added from State 3. Sorry I just had to add some things... Tuna packed in water with reduced fat mayo Chicken with mayo Salmon Cottage Cheese (2%) Protein Shakes s/f Ice Pops Refried Beans with NO lard (Fat free) Carb Countdown vanilla Yogurt s/f pudding I was going nuts with just those so I tried a small piece(1 oz) of broiled Pork Chop, a few string beans (canned, cooked), a portion of soy chips (added protein, low in carbs) and reduced fat Cheese its. Not all at once you know.... I hope that helps some, I know fish is really good to get down but if you don't like it, it does not help ya any.... Take care and I wish you luck.....~hugs~ Email me if you would like to chat..... Debra P
