Lisa,
Hun congrats on your surgery, I hope you are feeling well?.....~hugs~
I eat things like:
tuna with low fat mayo
canned salmon with mayo
loose scrambled egg (not good for me that early)
s/f ice pops
s/f jello
pureed home made chicken soup
low fat cottage cheese
no sugar added apple sauce
Protein Shakes!!!
I think that was it for the 1st 2 weeks, after that I started to add things and so far I really have not had anything other then the egg that my pouch did not like. I will try it again soon, they say if something does not agree try it again in a week or so.
Best of luck and you will feel SOOOOOO much better once your get those drains out........
Take care

Hi Lisa:
Congratulations on being one week out and welcome to the "losing side". I found the first week to be difficult too mainly because I didn't really want to eat anything at all.
Here's what I ate: poached eggs, cream of wheat, pureed soup (yuck), tuna and mayo, egg drop soup, natural apple sauce, peaches (with no added sugar--some make it with Splenda), egg salad... Whatever was moist in consistency went down the easiest. What does your nutritionist and surgeon suggest? I just stayed with the lists of foods they gave me.
Good luck with everything and remember...chew thoroughly and slowly.
All the best,
Karen
