coloring your hair post op

hey there, Just wondering I am 6 weeks post op today... and I really want to color my hair. Is it ok to do so? Thanks in advance Marla

I had my hair highlighted using foils a couple of weeks ago and I'm just 3 months out and so far so good.

I'm 3 1/2 weeks out and had highlights done yesterday - nobody had said anything at all about not doing it, so I didn't even consider asking. I can't imagine that an external treatment like that should be an issue! And believe me, it would have been an issue if I didn't get rid of my roots!! Alison

You should be fine....I've done hair for the last 15 years. The only thing you might find is that if you have grey in your hair it might not take as well as normal or your all over color may fade a little quicker. It should be fine though. Good Luck! Karry 311/180/167 goal
