Back at Work

Good Morning All, I am back at work this morning and feeling good.... It is nice to be back into a pattern....though it will just be 1/2 days for this week but getting there.... Good Morning Deb Glad to hear you are feeling well! Remember to sip, sip, sip. Have a wonderful day!! I know what you mean about having a pattern. Since I was forced to retire, it is hard to keep track of the days. I so look forward to working part time or per diem after surgery recovery. My weekend was spent trying to keep cool also. On Sunday, we celebrated our 40th anniversary at a surprise picnic hosted by our children with family and close friends. It was a wonderful day except if I had known I would have taken my swimsuit as our son has a pool and that is where the picnic was held. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. {{{{{HUGS}}}}} Brenda

Brenda, Hun Congrats on your anniv....~hugs~ That is awesome....Yeah I bet a pool would have felt so awesome with this heat....ewwwww.... That is good that you are going back to work p/t, it keeps ya sharp... Well for me it is so much easier to stay on track while working, I just don't know why but it is.... I been working since 12 days post op! GLAD your starting back half day at a time............ MY weekend was spent two days at the Private lake beach in my community! BEST way to beat the heat! TAKE CARE LISA

Glad to hear that you are back to work but only part time days!! i went right back intofull time and I was so freaking tired my first week!! How are you feeling?? Doing any better with the food?

Lisa, Yeah I am glad I am taking my time as well.... I don't want to try and be a hero.... I might try a full day tomorrow but we will see how it goes, wanted that freedom. I am feeling really good now hun, just the spot on my tummy that the nerves are healing still is a little sore but all and all, I feel pretty good.... I also got on the scale today and lost another 10 lbs, since surgery it is 26 lbs but I will see what it is when I go back to Dr Garber on July 14th.... Take care Debra P

Getting back in the the routine that is going to be good for your head hunger....it made a big difference for me..... I spent the week-end in the back yard soaking up the sun while the kids played in the pool.... My hubby stepped on my foot (ouch) but I'm ok I called the doctor and he told me if it doesn't hurt it is fine cause he re-enforce the splint and held the foot and the toes real tight so no pain everything is ok....so I don't have to go back in til next thursday.... How are you feeling are you getting along with your choices of food are you drinking your water, and are you getting in some walking..... I hope you have a great week ( 1/2 days ) at work... Christine
