Question for Post-Op...

Hey, I was wondering if anyone knew the answer to a personal, post-op question. I'm having my surgery Friday, Laprascopically, and was wondering what kind of restrictions I would have, and if I'm allowed to have intercourse afterwrds, or if I have to wait, and if so, how long do I have to wait?? Sorry to be so personal, but I really need to know!! THANKS!!

this isn't the first time i've seen this question, i had an open procedure and waited until a month after my RNY, i would say it would depend on how you are feeling afterwards, when you feel you are ready, i had no restrictions set on that part of my life Good luck & see you on the other side

I had lap surgery done, and my paperwork read to wait 3 weeks.

Terri, My surgeon said you should wait 3 weeks....but I would think once you are feeling better (actualy in the mood) you should be good to go. Take care Debra P
