Question..help please
Hi Janean!
Well I know how you feel....Just in the last month or so have I been able to eat chicken. I would chew and chew and chew and STILL get sick. I can eat a few bites of it now but I still have to chew VERY slow and take itty bitty bites. I have a hard time eating slow also....but I pay for it when I don't!!
The presure is painful and I have to get rid of whatever I've eaten. I then feel o.k. Also I have had something for lunch and been fine then tried it another day and been sick. Go figure? Guess it's just what I have to deal with. Trial and error!!
Good Luck!

Hi Janean,
In the beginning I had the same problem. In fact, chicken was the first thing to make me throw up. I can eat it now, but it still has to be moist. I prefer dark meat. It goes down much easier.
Eating too fast or too big a bite can most definately cause that pressure feeling. I've had that happen many times. It is very difficult to re-learn to eat. But that is exactly what you need to do. You have to think about what you are doing and take smaller bites and remember to chew it well. Believe me, after you get that pain from not doing it correctly enough times you learn it. I hate being in pain. I learned. I still have to think before I eat, especially when I'm talking to someone.
Good luck with it. You'll get it. It is all worth it, I promise!
