Has anyone used Dr. Cooperman?

Dear all: I have met with Dr. Cooperman and been to his pre-op meeting -- I've met the psych and nutritionist. Just waiting for his office to receive the reports (as of course quit smoking). I feel very comfortable with him and have checked websites and found nothing out of the ordinary with him, just wanted to hear some feedback first hand if anyone has used him and what they thought. It seems like he has an excellent success rate. Hope all are doing good today? I'll log back later to get the feedback. Thanks Debbie

Hi Debbie Do you mean Dr Cooperstone? If so, I had my surgery on May 2nd and he is awesome! I cant say anything bad about him.... I too had a hernia, I think an umbilical hernia and he fixed it. I'm sure if it is accessable(sp?) he will fix it... I cant say anything bad about him. He answers all your questions, kinda has a dry sense of humor and he has an awesome bedside manner, not to mention he's adorable His staff, especially Fern is amazing and will answer all your questions.... She too had the surgery along with her husband. North Shore Syosset staff is great too... the floor that you will be on after surgery is mostly his patients. Hi Gia, I did mean Cooperstone. I did meet with Fern -- she is great. I love her already. I have an incisional hernia (my 3rd one). Thanks for responding. How are you recooperating? Good I hope. I think I read something of yours before and you have a child/children too. My daughter is 6 and my son is 4. How is it recooperating with children?
