I'm really struggling with this puree diet too...I'm not a seafood eater, and most "blended" food sounds gross at this point! I'm doing the cottage cheese, yogurt, Carnation Instant, etc, but all the milk is starting to get to me! The diet I have says I can have creamed corn - do I still have to blend that too? I'm not eating enough, and I know it, but it's darn hard to do when you're feeling totally over this pureed stage! lol.... Anyway, glad to hear you're on the losing side and doing okay. I'm so glad you asked the question on what to eat before I did....now I get to just listen to the answers! I don't know if your scale is right or not - the speed you lose often correlates to where you start....if you have a great deal to lose you lose faster in the beginning. Best of luck to you! Roe, I'm 4 weeks out...and pureeing away!!!! I really like any kind of beans pureed, with pureed onion, and ff cheddar melted on top...yummy...I brought it for fathers day yesterday with black beans, and everyone liked it (they dipped theirs in nachos) I had mine with 3 melba toasts. I also like egg beater/egg whites...with a little chopped broccolli and ff cheddar. I made a crepe the other day with egg whites, then mixed a little part-skim ricotta with splenda and rolled it up. Also, beef broth, with a piece of alpin lace swiss on top. Tonite...I'm making in the crock pot, chicken, onions, carrotts, chicken broth, and I'll blend mine well. Hope this helps, Janean
