The Process Begins .......

Hi all, I haven't posted in a week or so. I had my consultation with the Doctor a few weeks ago. I was told that I needed to meet with a psychologist and nutritionist and to stop smoking. Well those two appts. happened this week. After the doctor receives the reports they will schedule an appt for me to start the insurance process. I had set my quit date for today, but had a couple (much better than a pack). I'm still trying. Moving along quickly. I attended my 1st pre-op meeting with my husband last night. It was very informative and inspiring with all the post-op testimonies. My husband even said maybe he would have it too. I'll believe it when I see it. I would love for us both to be thin and to do this together. Thank god he is supportive, he was just scared before, but after attending the meeting last night he's much better now. I'm excited to have a new lease on life and love coming on and just reading the posts. I hope all is well with all of you and that we get to know each other better as we post back and forth. The support is one of the most important things we can do for ourselves -- having that common bond. Well good night and hope everyone has a wonderful day tomorrow. Debbie
