HELP.. I AM NOT LOSING
You're gonna breathe ... You're gonna stay off the scale ... You're gonna (once checked with your surgeon) get some Smooth Moves Laxative tea and have yourself a healthy BM ... Then you're gonna completely relax. A stall at this stage is perfectly normal as your body is adjusting to the impact of surgery. You're doing fine ... You just don't know it!
I am by far not a Dr.....and I have never tried to be.....However, reading your short post I can see a couple issues here.
U have to eat....it actually helps you lose weight, your body needs something to burn. U should eat 6 tiny meals a day.
Good Girl on the Vitamins !! Bravooo for you !! That in its self can be a job !!! getting them all in.
The bathroom issue can be a reason for weight-gain.....I mean if your not going, ummm just my thought, but, doenst it weight smething .......It took me a while to get those issuse's under control.......and I still battle them....LOL
YOur doing Ok...and if your issues with the bathroom dont work out soon, you should be calling your Dr.......My Dr wanted me to call if I was over 4 days........you can develop a bowel obstruction.....and U dont want that !!!
One LASTTTT thing.........Dont stand on a scale everyday.........I never weight myself.....when ppl say....how much have you lost....I said....Ohhh 200ISH.....because I only weight at Dr's and my moms.....I dont own a scale........U can gain 2 lbs during a day......Sooooo dont get on your scale TOOO TOOOO Much.......
Good Luck....and Call the Dr if your issuse with the bathroom dont settle soon !!

I'm sure you're just going thru some early post-op stuff and will be fine. Like others here have said, you probably need a good laxative, to drink some more water, to stay off the scale which may or may not be completely accurate and just try and give yourself a little time to let this tool work.
It does work - it just has to develop its own way of working for you.
I hope your doctor appointment went well today and that you will come back and post your results.
Take care.

cathy-
believe it or not you have to eat. i had a stricture 3 weeks post op and couldn't keep anything down. my doctor didn't diagnosis the problem till 6 weeks out. he didn't think i had a problem because i wasn't losing any weight.
turns out once my problem was taken care of and i was able to eat my weight loss picked up. when you don't eat it slows down your metabolism, and your body holds on to weight for dear life. you have to eat and eat regularly.
good luck!!!
