Down to single digits: 9 MORE DAYS!!!
6/23/05 it's around the corner!!!:bounce:
I don't know why but nine is so much more exciting ten.
Nown to single digits in the count down. I can't believe this is happening!!! I went in for pre-testing today and had butterflies, I can't imagine on surgery day.
I love you guys; Thanks for all the nice e-mails and awesome support!!!
Enzo-
Congratulations Enzo!!!
I read your profile and was very touched, you see I have a 27 yr. old son and I can understand where you're coming from. You'll see, very, very soon you'll be doing things that most guys your age do. Hey, Maybe I can hook you up to join my sons touch football team. (Smile)I wish you all the luck in the world. May God guide your surgeons hands and give you a speedy and uneventful recovery.
See you on the losing side.
God Bless,
WOOOOOOOHOOOOOOO Enzo!!!!!!! I am so happy for you Oh yeah!!!!!!! Before you know it you will be on the losing side. It's such a great feeling!!!!!!!

Enzo,
Wow - you are into the single digit count down phase! You date will be here before you know it. It is very exciting. Surprisingly, I was very calm the morning of the surgery. They get you started with an IV - and although they didn't tell me - I think there must be something that calms you down in there.

Hey Enzo_
I think we have the same surgeon Dr. Pomp, so I want you to know that you are in GREAT hands! When I walked into the operating room, he walked over to the table and asked how I was doing. I said, "petrified" and he said, don't worry I'll take good care of you and held my hand until I was in la,la land. Besides that, he knows what he's doing! His staff and residents are very good too.
Also a word of advise: Some of his residents wanted me to leave on day 2, but I could barely walk and I told them that I would rather leave the next day because I didn't feel up to leaving on day 2! I was not in good shape at that time. They asked me why, and I told them because I can barely walk without assistance, and my family is not trained professional staff, so since I was told that the hospital stay would be 2-3 days, I opted for 3.
So, don't let them make you leave before you feel like you're ready.
All the best Enzo, I we'll see you on the "losing side."
