I had surgery on March 28, 2005, I have lost 41.5 lbs, which brings me to 196.5. I have been exercising, I ride my bike 2-3 times in the morning (up to 6 miles each mornging). I eat 6 small meals a day so that I do not feel hungry. I can only eat about 2-3 ounces at a time. I do have a treat every so often (sugar free icecream, pretzels), but I can not imagine that it would stop my weight loss. What am I doing wrong? Any suggestions?

Hi Sweetie !! Your probably not doing anything wrong, Plateau's happen, Up your waters and proteins. I really dont see where your doing anything wrong, just one of those things !! I believe i had a time where I stopped losing last fall for a week or so......and without even trying to make it start again, it just happened. Somewhere lastweeek on here I saw a post about a Plateau , they say to embrace them, because even though that are hard on the MIND, they are good for the body, because its the body's way of building itself up for a bigger loss.........Soooo go with that Its just one of thise crappy things that happen along the way of our journe, but I can assure you, it wont last long, and your journey is farrrr from over Sweetie. Keep up the good work and try to get more water and protein !! Lets us know when you break it......because....it WILL be broken soon enough Brenny
