Wow, what weekend. Our Relay for Life (American Cancer Society) just wrapped up. We raised over $41,000 in our little community for cancer research. It was a beautiful event. All the planning for Relay and the event itself really kept my mind off the fact that in less than 24 hours I will be having my surgery. I'm almost too tired to think about it right now, but I am so excited and nervous at the same time. I just can't wait to get it over with. This afternoon I will go to the store and by some broth, sf jello and some shakes for when I get home on Wednesday. Thank you all who have signed my surgery page. It means a lot to me that your prayers are with me. My sister will post and let everyone know how I do tomorrow. Love to all, Deb

Hey Deb, Glad that the event went so well. I will be praying for you tomorrow. Get some sugar free ice pops too . I had my surgery last monday and they really help get the fluid in and help with the heat too. God Bless you and I will see you onthe losers side. Andrea

Thanks for the tip. The SF ice pops sound great. I'll probably live on them for a while. It's been so hot here. Thanks so much for your prayers also. Deb

Hi Debra, I have to be at the hospital at 9:30 and surgery is scheduled for 11:30. I am sooooo tired out from the weekend. Relay is so much fun. I will be the Event Chairperson next year. This was our Third year for Relay in Camden and it was an awesome event. The heat was oppressive though, but it didn't stop people from coming out. We had 43 teams this year, up from 24 last year and 8 the first. Like I said it's a great event. If you ever get a chance to participate or have a team where you are you should chedk it out. After all, in no time you are going to be fit and feeling great!! Thanks so much for your hugs and prayers. I don't know what I'd do without my AMOS family. Take care, Deb
