I finally Decided on a Surgeon

Hi Everyone, I know I've been MIA and it's been a long time since I last posted here, but it has been hectic.. I've seen about 3 surgeons and finally felt confident with Dr. William Homan, he performs with Dr. Webber in White Plains, I scheduled my nutrionist appointment for this Friday and all my testing and other appointments will follow up and I will be through with all the process by the end of the month... This means that I should (keeping my fingers crossed) be having surgery sometime at the end of July or the first week of August.. I've met some wonderful people here and they all know who they are, so no need to mention any names, I love you all. Thank you for always being there for me through this long ride and you know I am more than ready to be on the loosing side. Well I will keep everyone posted and I will make sure to try to come around more often. Now I am ready for my angels to jump up and guide me through this. & Mercy

CONGRATULATIONS!!!! DAG, you made me come out of lurk mode. I'm happy that you've decided on a doctor. Now the process truly begins. What process you ask???? Well, for instance on Friday you have an appointment and I'm sure you were really excited calling and making it. This is the process. Getting a referral, making or trying to get the quickest appointment and then patiently awaiting the day. Sistha, girl you'll do fine. Before you know it your surgery would be scheduled and then the journey begins. As you begin your process I want to challenge you to journal your thoughts, frustrations, joys, stress and every other emotion and feeling that the process will conjure up!!!!! Always remember you are loved and respected. I wish you an uneventfuly surgery, a speedy recovery, great shopping discounts and most importantly.......may your skin bounce back!!!!! You know that you and Renee will be my Angels, I sure don't care what you have under your belt at this time, but hey I will be haunting both of you like there is no tomorrow, then is party time, you know what I am talking about. Hi Louis, Nice to meet you, I use to be on the board last year a lot, but lately I've been MIA (missing in action). I've been researching WL now for about 1 yr or so..
