I AM SO ABSOLUTELY NERVOUS RIGHT NOW!!!! 3 DAYS AND I WILL BE A LOSER....I STILL HAVE A HARD TIME BELIEVING THAT I WILL BE NOT BE WEARING CLOTHES FROM LANE BRYANT OR THE AVENUE ANYMORE...WELL I STILL BE FOR A WHILE....LOL YOU GUYS WOULDN'T BELIEVE ME IF I TOLD YOU....HECK..MAYBE YOU WILL...YA'LL PROBABLY JUST AS CRAZY AS ME..LMAO!! My closet consists of clothing I have bought for the past 3 years....all with tags....I would estimate the value at least 7K! Gap, NY & Co, Levis, Limited, Express, Donna Karan, Tommy Hilfiger...wait, I think now its more like 10K, not including my fetish for Gucci, Prada, and Michael Kors...Damn, I'm in trouble...lol Anyways, I have been living in this skin with a dream....and it is about to come true...yes, it may sound very superficial, but I cannot wait to wear something from my special secret closet. I also cannot wait to feel healthier....walk without being out of breath...taking the stairs because I know I wont be puffing like a dragon....I want to feel like a sexpot...I've seen some of you out there...you know what happens to you....lol. So, do I have any competition out there with my closet bit....let me know..how sick I am...lol.. Love you all Cathy

Well Cathy, you know what? You are gonna be one hot fashion mama when the lbs start to melt off of you. I am still getting stuff from Lane Bryant and Avenue but now I can also get the quick fix Walmart and Target stuff when I feel like shopping my ass off at lunch time or get bored on the weekends and wanna spend a "little" money. It is great to be getting closer to the "regular" sizes and I am so excited even though I have become a "clothes *****" as my hubby tells me. Well good luck on your surgery Friday (Friday right???) and we will all be anxiosuly awaiting to see how you are doing so let us know when you can. Hugs, Presh

Cathy, Good luck with your surgery. I still have a couple of months to go before mine & I get butterflies off & on, I can only imagine when I'm 3 days away. My sister is scheduled for June 13th, it'll be interesting to compare your experience with hers. Keep us posted. Oh, & once you get to small for all those great clothes you bought, make sure you give us first choice at them. Tammy

I am 2 weeks post op- open rny. It was worth it. I lost 14 lbs and am now an 18. However i am most excited for the health benefits- my bp is laready down! l do have a secret desire to wear some nice clothes- I am middle aged and did not get fat until my 30's- I had my great clothes which I never threw out- always hoping! good luck- in three days!

Good Luck Cathy and you not alone. I talked to my Surgeon yesterday and if all my remaining Appts do not change I will probably have my Surgery in the Middle to end of July. The first thing I did was order a size Lg. Ski pants and Jacket from Polo. It was $425.00. My wife said why dont you wait for afetr the Surgery and I said no. I will be wearing these Ski Pants by January 06 if it kills me. I am happy to see you are Focused and Determined as you should be.'' Good Luck to You, Louis
