Any WLS Hopefuls in Lower Westchester?

Hi all! I am looking for a few people in my area who are in the process to (hopefully) have surgery soon. I need a WLS buddy who is going through this so we can support one another and maybe get together to exercise. I feel I can't do this alone Anyone? Dolly

Hi Dolly! I can't help you with that because I had my surgery a year ago but I do want to say may you have an uneventful surgery and a speedy recovery!!!!!!! Also Dolly I live in Harrison NY and I have support group meetings once a month (post-op & pre-ops all are welcome) if you would like to come, the next meeting is on June 18th from 10am to 11am and we run a little over sometimes but that is ok too If you would like to come please e-mail me an I will give you directions to my house. Hi Evelyn! First, thank you for the nicest hug and kisses; then, let me congratulate you on your success...WTG!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wish I can make to your support group, but because I only work part-time and when I don't go to work I don't get paid, I have to set up my pcp, dentist, and other appointments for Saturdays. Wow Mary, that is awesome. My surgeons support group meeting is the same day each month but I can't always make it into the city so this will be a great alternative. Thanks for letting us know!!!! If I don't come to this one I will most likely make the next one. St. John's U is like 10 mintues from my job so that is soooooooooo convenient. Hugs, Presh
