4 More Days

Hello my AMOS Family, Thank you to all that have signed my support page and posted to my pre-admit testing post.....Love you all.... I am so excited now that I am past all the pre-stuff, with the exception of my PCP Clearance tomorrow. All went well yesterday and it really was helpful to hear from the Bariatric Nurse Anna at Mercy, she is so awesome... I also got to meet Sarah H, we have been emailing for a while but she does not belong to this site, she is having her surgery on June 7th by the same Drs. Hoping to be roomies.... THANK YOU ALL for your support, love you guys so much... Debra P

Debra !! 4 days..........woooo hooooo... Gotta tell ya.....its gonna be a longggg weekend for ya.......BUT.....the days are sooooooo close now !!! I am glad things went well for you yesterday, and you even got to meet your friend........GREAT Stuff Ok......Im working really hard as you can see......LOL U have a great day......Glad things went well yesterday !! Brenny, Yeah 4 more to go...... I have a feeling it will go quick because I will be heading down to LI on Sat morning with my cuz, which she is coming in Friday night and hubby will follow Sat night so I will be busy and then Sun is my clear liquid day.... I have to call tomorrow to find out my time...... Yeah I am working hard too..... well I am as today really is my last day, tomorrow I have to run and take my lunch to get my PCP clearance and then we are having lunch outside, kind of my going away/new life/we will miss ya party... Hi Debra, I'm so glad to hear it went well yesterday at Mercy Hospital. I knew you would love Anna. She is the greatest, and she will be there for you whenever you need her. I am so excited for you. Debra, Best of luck on your surgery! I'm sure everything will go fine for you! I'm 1 week post-op already..... hard to believe! Things have gotten much better. I go to get my JP tube removed today, & 1/2 the staples from incision. Don't stock up on too many protein shakes now.... i found one i LOVED b4 surgery (the taste was great), now it's gagging me to drink them. Sadly, i bought like 10 cans of the stuff... now that will last me 100 years! I can swallow them & they stay down, but the taste is now horrible! The clear zero carb Isopure works, & has a better texture than any of the protien shakes.... but i really only like the grape now. I can't wait to move onto real foods! Please let us know how you are doing, when you get a chance!! Best to you....... Mike
