I will be writing more often now that I have no more nails to bite off I am training an intern to cover me at my job and the stress from that alone is driving me nuts... I hope she does well while I am gone..... I love my girls at work and I just told them yesterday and what support I got!!! I just asked hubby if he was off next friday....he said "uh, no, why" DUH!!! Hey Cathy Well you only have 9 days to go til your big day. I checked your profile and you're a Bronx girl like me AND you're having your surgery at the same hospital I did with Dr. Dakin who is an associate of my surgeon, Dr. Pomp. Their staff is so cool. Very professional and supportive. I love LaWanda and Diana especially. They have been A1 with me from the beginning! Anyway, I know you're nervous and that's to be expected but you are in great hands and will be fine. Shoot me an email if you need to talk and all the best to you for a safe and successful surgery. Hey Renee: Thanks for writing to me. I cant believe that the time is near.... I know I am gonna be fine....I know I'm in good hands....I better be!!! lol. I really love the office staff there. I have yet to meet LaWanda. Their practice manager, Nisha, used to work in my office. So, I gave her a call and she hooked me up with Dr. Dakin. Actually, it was my boss, who is an attending at Cornell who urged me to go to NYH....she is a snob....in a good way though! lol I delivered my son their so I know how good the staff is....I went for pre admit testing last friday and the consulting anesthesiologist asked me who I worked for and I told him and he loves my doc...they do sections together at times...so he is going to put in a request for a particular anesthesiologist my boss works with alot....so that is pretty cool....Anyways, thanks for the ear....keep in touch!!
