Taking Baby Steps.....

Hi All My name is Coqui (Co-key), I live in The Bronx and I have finally made the decision 2 have the surgery. It has been a tug of war with my feelings, and the decision did not come easily. 1st and formost I would like 2 Thank Marlene a co worker/friend who introduced me to this page. I have been reading 4 the past 3 weeks, and the support U guys show one another is phenomenal! Hopefully U all will take me under your wings, and support me on my journey. Will U B my fairy Godmothers & Fathers? 2day I took my 1st baby step. I went 2 the initial consultation, I had my blood work done, and Im slowly creeping 2 the next step. Stay with me... the ride seems very scary. Thanx 4 listening, write again soon.

(((Coqui))) Congratulations on your first of many steps! I remember you were having a little bit of a hard time deciding but I'm sure you feel somewhat better now that you made that decision. So how did the consultation go? What surgeon did you decide to go with? What type of surgery did you discuss with him or her? I know that this is a major step (this surgery). But I know that as much as I was against it at one point in my life, I am sooooooooooooooo grateful and thankful that I decided to get educated enough about it that I made the choice to have it.
