I WANT A DATE!

I am getting so stressed, the wait is killing me! My last appt was May 14 (psych). All my paperwork was in by last Tues! Everytime I call my surgeons office, they tell me the P.A. has my file on her desk to be reviewed before I can get a date, and they tell me to "call back tomorrow".... Gosh, I am going nuts! I feel funny to keep calling and haunting them but I want to get on the calendar SOON!!!! Any suggestions? -Dee

Dee, Hang in there hun I know it gets frustrating waiting for "them" to give ya a date or approval..... It will come hun and I will keep you in my prayers that you get it very soon.... I would call them again if you do not hear anything by Friday, maybe just say sorry for calling but you need to have the date so you can get things in order. I know you really so not want to upset the office staff.... I wish you luck hun.... Take care Debra P

Thanks Debra. I'm just so on edge waiting...waiting to hear its a go and wanting to get a date soon so I can begin my new life as a LOSER! Well, hopefully I will hear back from them before the end of the week. I just feel so nervous and anxious. This pre-op stuff is a long process but I know it'll be worth the wait! -Dee

Gosh i know just how you feel. I have 1 more apt in June till my 6 month wait by the ins company is over. Then hopefully surgery in the summer, but the wait tis killing me!!!!!!!! I try not to think about it all the time, but i just cant wait. Maybe we can watch the clock tick together!! Best wishes for you

keep calling them and bugging them until they give you what you want and demand it, it is your life....but hang in there sweetie you will get the day and it will be here before you know it.... Christine

Oh Dee do I share your anguish. I am getting closer and the closer I get the more I seem to be getting obstacles. It will come Dee. Like everyone has been telling me the end result is worth it. Keep your head high Dee your in the home stretch.
