Two More Days ...........

Hey Everyone.. Just wanted to let everyone know that i am two days away from surgery. Practically going out of my mind, cant sleep .. cant eat .. no eating.. (execpt liquids) and barely smoking. I just cant wait until its all done. I need as many prayers as possible...

Hi Roe long time no see 2 more days and you will be joining us on the losing side....keep yourself busy so you wont have time on your hands it helps get through the days... sending you well wishing and vibes for a successful surgery and speedy recovery... christine

Thank you so much.. i am so afraid.. i hope everything goes ok.. my worse fear is that something goes wrong and they dont do the surgery..like maybe i didnt lose enough all these crazy thoughts are going through my head... how do i stop the voices..lol...

RoseMarie, Hun I know how you are feeling, I am 13 days away and feeling so "out of my skin" it is crazy.. Just hang in there and keep yourself busy, think about all the things that you will after you are feeling better. Hi RoseMarie, I too have my surgery this Thursday the 26th, I have to be at Westchester Medical Center @ 6:30 am-and headed for the OR for 7am if all goes as scheduled......I am less nervous than I was last week not really sure why but I feel calmer. I think it might be that I was still debating whether to actually do this!!!! I was really freaking out and knew the best thing was to get to a support meeting,so I went last Thursday evening and was glad I went...only 4 other ladies showed up and it was a very cozy group. Since then I felt calmer (I am still scared about the anesthesia stuff tho!) I am on the full liquid today and then clear liquid tomorrow...I am doing well and not a starving maniac as I thought I would be!!! Have done some protein shakes,chicken broth,SF icepops and SF Jello,and crystal light lemonade, nothing RED of course LOL! Just think in 2 days we'll be LOSERS!!!!! all the best to you and may your surgery go well. Robin
