I did it!!
I had my open RNY on Thursday and I was home Sunday afternoon. Everything went very well. Dr. said it took a little longer than normal because I had a "tough" stomach. As of right now, I do not have any regrets for doing this. I feel great, and have been walking as much as possible but resting when needed. I'm really getting sick of the jello and broth. Anyone have any other suggestions? I love being a "LOSER!"
CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU!!!!!!! I know you are getting tired of the same old things right now but just stick to the plan and before you know it , it will be a distant memory believe me I know I am so happy for you WOOOOOOO HOOOOOOO!!!!!!! As far as food......just make sure you follow your Dr's plan !! If your able make some thin mashed potaotes and that packet gravy that you just add water too...I loved that...or cottage cheese......*BUT ONLY IF ITS ONE OF THE THINGS YOUR ALLOWED TO HAVE *
Hang in there and get some rest......and drink your water and eat your Jello !!!
