Roll Call (happy Monday)

Hi Tina Happy Anniversary...10 year don't they just fly by so fast....sounds like hubby reallllllly took care of you for your anniversary....that is so sweetie a week-end get away.... OOoohhhhh I so Jealous and you were able to buckle your seat belt with out the extension, and wear a bathing suit and do all the great things that couples do together.....I as so happy for you it is joyfull to be able to do these simple things that some people just take for granted.... Hello Roll Call Gal. I hope you are having a good Monday. Was a good weekend. Accomplished a few little things from my checklist toward my Surgery goal.

Good for you, getting the things done that you want to before surgery....those little things are going to mean alot when you don't have to do them after surgery..... Glad you made the roll call today Louis... Christine

Hi Christine: I am so happy to stop by and say hi for roll call. I had my surgery 10 days ago and am getting better with each day that passes. It is my doctors practice to leave a tube inside you (and partially hanging outside of you from your stomach) when you leave the hospital. This tube stays in until your first follow up visit - 10 to 12 days after surgery at which time he removes it. I have to say that this had been the WORST part of it all. The tube pulls, tugs. pinches and allows you to have no real comfortable position in which to rest. Mine is removed tomorrow and I am counting the hours!!! LOL Anyway - beside the tube... this hasn't been as bad as I thought it would be. I am glad it is over with and I have joined you and the rest on the losing side. Thank you all for your good wishes while I was in the hospital. I feel blessed to be able to sit here and answer a "roll call" Have a great week everybody. -D

Hi D Congratulations on joining us on the losers side....we are so glad you joined us.... the tube is called a j-p drain and it is uncomfortable to sleep or do anything with it in....but after tomorrow you will be able to move around better but that doesn't mean you will get comfortable yet that takes time ... I too am glad you are able to make it to roll call...and I look forward to reading your post about your follow up visit... get some rest...{{{{{hug}}}}} Christine

Christine !! Late......but, Im here. I hope you enjoyed the weekend, for meeeeee it was VERYYYYYYYY BUSY !! But felt good to get ALOT of things done around my place !! So sorry I didn't get back to you early I was so busy here at work.....I love it when it's busy the day fly's by Oh yes you have started your week-ends off now so yes you should be looking forward to the 3 day week-end next week-end I know I am and I can't wait to be off..... Hi all, Was crazy busy at work today, so I didn't get to check in until now. I called my surgeons office this office this morning - they had told me on Fri to call back today to get my DATE....and now they tell me the P.A. is going over the files today and I should call back tomorrow! Oh man!!!! I hope I get my date tomorrow!!!! I'll be sure to let you know either way....Trying to remain calm but the anxiety is killing me! -Dee
