Hey Everyone.......... TGIF : This will be a busy weekend for me. My parents are coming in today from Puerto Rico. They will be spending the whole summer out here. WoooooHoooooo!!! IT'S F R R R I D D D A A A Y Y Y Y!!!!!! (too bad it's not payday) How are you my sexy sexy friend!?! I am having an OK day... my stomach didn't want my shake this morning, so I kind of forced myself to drink it, or at least half of it. I found this mom and pop shop down the street from my job that has cute cute cute summer clothes.... and YES they carry plus sizes (not that we will be wearing them much longer)!!! I have my eye on a couple cute capri's and matching cotton shirts... 2 outfits only 40$!! So ya know that I can't wait for payday!!! I want to feel as sexy as I look I also looked into getting me and the kids Nextel cell phones. With Keith being so busy with baseball, Krysta busy with her Leadership projects, and me working.... we need them! The last thing that I really wanted to do was buy cell phones, but it seems to be a necessity at this point. Is this the price paid for being a single mom, and a worry wart at that?? Hi there my NUT muffin you got me lmao over here... yes being a parent it is the price you pay but being a single parent it is the whole price you pay to bad it's not payday we could have fun fun fun shopping, it's not my payday either so I'm with you....and after yesterday I couldn't go shopping anyway got my car out of the shop and it took my money and I had to get money from my hubby too... to pay for the whole thing... is that you who keeps talking dirty in my ear then hanging up Talk to you soon Christine

Hi Christine, I am also happy it is friday. I haven't posted here in a while. Life has been really good. I feel happy and healthy! I have lost about 36 lbs since my surgery. I'm losing slower than most people I see posting, but I am really ok with it. I see a big difference in myself...and I feel great!!!The weight is going to come off...there is no way I am going to fail this time. I actually joined a gym and have been going 3-4 times a week. This is truely a miracle for me. I went to Dr Garber's Miracle Walk in Long beach last week. It was 3 miles...it wasn't easy..but I did it! There were about 100 people there, all who had WLS. Outsiders never would have known that all these people were obese at one time. The NY times was there, and interviewed me regarding my recent surgery, as well as people that were more seasoned post ops. I have no idea when it will be printed. Anyway, I just wanted to check in...it's been a while. Hugs and kisses to all! Gail

Sounds like your are taking your life back that is great news 36lbs keep up the good work.... And you walk the 3 miles you must have felt better about yourself that you did it....so are you buying the times to see if the printed it or will someone let you know... Dr Garber has a wonderful reputation and is keeping everyone motavated which is very good...you should be so proud of your self all the changes youare making in your new lifestyle....it's all about the choices we make... Hi Christine and all! TGIF!!!! Well actually - its now Sat isnt it? Oh well, I was lucky enough to get tix to see Emeril Live today so I had a half day at work which was nice! It was a lot of fun being at the Emeril taping! So happy its the weekend but I actually can't wait until Monday. Thats when I should be getting my surgery date! WOO!
