I have a date with destiny!!

I had my surgeon consultation on Monday and I have a date of June 3rd!! I'm in that oh-so-pleasant waiting for insurance approval phase.....isn't it fun??? Keep your fingers crossed for me! Everything has been moving along so well that I'm convinced that I'll be declined just to muck it up!! Anyway - have a great weekend....can't wait until I'm a loser too!! Alison

Hi there! Thanks for responding! I decided to go to Rochester (Highland Hospital) with Dr. Thad Boss. They're ratings on the obesityhelp site for complications and care were very good. They also had substantially quicker timeframes for the process, and he's done more than 200. Dr. O'Malley (who taught him and is lead doctor in the practice) has done more than 1000 and has quite a waiting list. I decided to go with Dr. Boss after meeting him, hearing about his experience level, and knowing that he's working with Dr. O'Malley. It's a bit of a drive, but worth it for me since I have some tight dates to work with (in terms of timing it with work dates). Good luck to you as well....I hope you do well too!! Alison
