Finally chose a doctor and which surgery

Hello, This is my first post, so please bare with me. I chose Dr. Lirio and was wondering if anyone could give me some info? I was wondering how long I will be out of work and how long it takes before the surgery is scheduled(estimated time) It's been along time coming, just excited about the future- a Healthy future!!! Hey Bec I also cant answer anything you asked but like Debra want to wish you a speedy recovery and a safe journey. I see we live not to far from each other just up the Northway about 40 miles or so. This is a great place for info this is so if you need to know anything just ask away. Tony

Hi Bec, I originally was going to go through Dr. Lirio but then changed my mind because he only does it at Ellis Hospital. I have heard nothing but great things about him. I heard that hes a no nonsense kind of guy but very caring. I chose Albany Med and Drs. Singh and Rosati. They also have great track records. I actually have a friend who is having a consult with Dr. Lirio on the 24th. Is there anything specific you would like to know about him. I know that there are others on this board that have had him and love him. Good luck with your surgery!! Laurie

Laurie, Thanks for positive info. I was wondering if you would have his phone number, the number I have is 372-1313 is out of service. I also tried emailing him from his website and that was returned undeliverable. I've tried superpages, don't rely know were else to look. Becky, I also had Dr. Singh at St. Peters Hospital in Albany. He works at both hospitals and lets the patient choose. I looked up Dr. Lirio # for you it is listed as 372-1313 Good luck. Mary

Becky, Sorry I see I posted the same number you had. That is strange it is no longer working. I hope someone can help you. I just checked my insurance booklet and they have his number listed as (518)831-8001. That is supposed to be his office at Ellis Hospital. Good luck Mary
