I HAVE A DATE!!!!!!

Hello Amos family I am so excited, I called the surgeons office yesturday to find out when he would be starting lap rny surgery. They still do not have a date. So I decided to schedule an open surgery instead. I can't stand the waiting! Well my surgery will be on May 31st. OMG!!!! I only have two weeks!! I have so many feelings going through me right now! I was so sick to my stomach last night ! Talk to you soon! Kathy

Kathy~~~ Congratulations on getting that surgery date!! Your going through that rollercoaster of emotions right now. With your WLS in just 2 weeks, you will be so busy that the time will just fly by. Good Luck and keep posting, it will help!!

Tara, Thank you, and I hope that you are right that the time will fly by! I have to make a list of things to do around the house so my hubby won't have to! They did not tell me about any pretesting workups. I do have to go to a metting on the 25th, maybe that is it? Thanks again! Kathy

Congratulations Kathy on getting your date open is not as bad as you would think, I had open and was back to work in three weeks, I wanted to go back in 2 but the doc said no I am sure you will do fine.....congratulations again.... Christine

Christine Thank you for letting me know that open is not that bad. I just want to get it over with, I was making myself sick waiting for a date. I do not have to worry about going back to work, I quit in January due to problems I was having getting time for my testing and doc appts, and other things of course. A good friend of mine are getting state certified to have an in house day care for when school starts back up. Thanks again you are all soo wonderful!!!! Kathy

Congratulations!!! I am so excited for you. I just got some good news myself too. I had my 1st cnsult scheduled for June 1st, and they just called and moved it for tomorrow.
