So Bummed Out!!!

I am so bummed out I got a message from the doctors office today and they said that MVP might not approve me because I havent lost my 5%. When I was there on last Thursday I was 1&1/2 lbs away from my 5%and they told me it wouldnt be a problem. Now it seems to be a problem. They gave me a date of June 9th but now that may change. I feel like crying. Can anything else go wrong today. Sorry I just needed to cry on somebodies shoulder. Andrea

Andrea Hi. I am sooooooo sorry to hear about your problem, but you came to the right place to cry on someone's shoulder. Have you tried going on a liquid diet for a week or so to lose the 1-1/2 pounds? I mean it might be worth a try so they don't change your surgery date. Soon you will be dancing with joy. I understand totally what you are feeling as I was scheduled for March 17th and found out March 2nd that our insurance company had changed and the new insurance company would not approve my wls even though the previous company found it "medically necessary". Now I am doing a 3-month supervised nutrition and exercise program and hoping for surgery in mid-July. Talk about being bummed out. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. {{{{HUGS}}}} Brenda

Brenda Thanks for the shoulder. I am going to try doing a liquid diet but I dont know if It will still postpone my date if Insurance doesnt approve me at first. But Im not giving up. I will keep at. Thanks for your prayers . I will keep you in pray too. Andrea

Andrea, I can not believe that they would not approve you for 1 to 2 lbs...my gosh, someone can again that by having to much salt at a meal.... I sure hope your surgeon office will fight for you on that!!! Hun I know you are upset and it really does suck but hang in there and try to make the best of it...I know you really do not want to hear that right now but things do happen for a reason even though at the time they just SUCK!!!! Debra Thanks for your support. Everyone on this site has been great. I will keep on praying and working on the weight. I know everything happens for a reason. I will also be praying for your surgery, it will be here before you know it. Andrea
