What A Beautiful Day!

Hello all.... what a beautiful day again in upstate NY! All is going well with weight loss (despite the fact that it started out VERY slow at first), I have lost 54# so far. I am a first time grandma yesterday to a baby girl and I am off to see her for the first time in a couple hours!!!! I cant wait! hope all is well with everyone... Take Care, Roxanne

Congratulations Roxanne! That's wonderful news. And also congratulations on your weightloss. You are doing great. Speaking of upstate NY. I travel a lot and I finally got tired of telling people I live in upstate NY. Heck, even people in NY City say that north of the city is upstate. But go out of NY and I'm pretty sure not many realize that there's a NY much above Albany . So now, when people ask me where I'm from I just say "The other NY....you know..the one that's not an Island (meaning Manhatten or Long Island)". And then when I tell them I live north of Syracuse they say, "Wow, that really is upstate isn't it?" It's just too funny. I get the real looks when I say I grew up in Massena on the Canadian border .
