Gia, Just wanted to say hello hun and I am sorry you are not feeling well....What about the sugar free Antiseptic Lozenges, Numbing Lozenges or gargle with warm sal****er several times a day. They might help... Hope you are feeling better hun....~hugs~ Debra P

Hi Gia: Welcome home. I came home on Sunday and I have had a sore throat too. Probably from being intubated during surgery and all the lovely coughing afterwards. I'm doing the sugar free Halls and some decaf tea. Hope you are feeling better, Karen

SOrry to hear you have a sore throat GIA. (((FEEL BETTER HUGSSSSsss))))....not sure if surgery casued that or you have a bug. MY daughter has been home from school for two days complaining headache, now heacache and sorethroat!!! I opt for warm sal****er gurggling...this way nothing goes down..and you get relief.

Hey sweetie.. I had the same thing..at first I thought it was from the tube they put down your throat during surgery, then I thought it was strep.. but then it got worse. I gargled with sal****er, listerine, decaf tea, I did the sugar free halls.. becareful you dont swallow them..Anyway, I decided to see my primary dr..as my surgeon suggested.. and guess what "severe thrush" not only in my mouth , but down my throat..I had to take Diflucan Liquid form..ewwwwwwwwwwwwwww....anyway it went away..Hun remember our body's change after this...So if I was you..go see you primary dr. Good Luck Terri

Hi Gia, On my first week home, I had a bad case of post nasal drip which was causing me to cough. As you can imagine coughing was VERY painful! My husband bought me sugar free cough drops. They were wonderful till the sorbitol hit me! It caused me to have the most foul gas...and the "runs" really bad. Constipation was no longer an issue...LOL!I just wanted to warn you. I hope you are feeling better. Gail
